Guest Speaking:

  • College-level Introduction to Transgender Issues stand-alone sessions for Human Sexuality, Women’s Studies, Psychology, and Sociology courses to help students better understand transgender identities, experiences and the differences between gender identity & orientation.   Other topics include prejudice reduction, lesbian, gay & bisexual topics, intimate partner violence and a range of human sexuality topics.   Speaking engagements can be designed to target youth, young adult and adult learning styles.

Trainings:

  • 40-hour professional development trainings for teachers/educational professionals, that are Act 48 eligible.
  • Half and Full day trainings on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender issues for medical professionals and direct service providers, with specialized information targeting the unique needs of medical or non-profit settings.  (Topics:  Sexual Issues, Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Identities and Issues, and Transgender 101+).
  • Co-facilitator of diversity trainings for businesses seeking to better their workplace environment for transgender employees.  Services include organizational assessment, strategic planning, leadership development, and staff trainings.   (Co-facilitator:  Dr. David Hall)

Curriculum Design:

  • Eli provides specialized curriculum and lesson plans designed to meet the learning styles of youth, young adult, and adult learners.   Gender and sexuality topics include safer sex methods, HIV/AIDS, trans issues, prejudice reduction, and more.

The cost of hiring Eli as a consultant will vary based largely on the size and scope of the project. Sliding scale fees are available for organizations with limited budgets or significant financial challenges, and will be considered on a case by case basis.
